This coffee comes from brothers Jose Antonio and Andres Salaverria and their father Jose Antonio Senior. The brothers are sixth generation coffee producers and they operate their farm Finca San Francisco with equal parts passion and precision. The climate at the farm, dry and not too hot, is perfect for producing natural processed coffees like this one. The pickers are payed a premium, well over twice the minimum wage, for selective picking. After the picking, a secondary screening is done, ensuring uniform quality and a consistent deep blood red colour of all the coffee cherries that they use for this lot.
