They chose to plant themselves in the Chapada de Minas region, the same area where Paulo’s father Geraldo had started working back in the 90’s. He went from working on coffee farms, to running plantations and cooperatives, to being the CEO of Cafebras, one of the largest coffee trading companies in Brazil, and now a partner in Paulo and Jaqueline’s farm. They named it Santa Cecília after the family matriarch Cecília Maria dos Reis, a woman of simple origins and unwavering principles. They describe her as an honest, respectful and resilient person with lots of ethics and integrity. These are values that came with them when they first started the farm in 2019 and they are still running through every part of their work. The Miranda family run Santa Cecília with clear purpose: To grow sustainably, to honour people and nature and to produce the best coffee that they possibly can.

Whole coffee beans roasted for filter.
